​​​You can find out here about my first​ book "Taking in the View - Life from a Scooter" and how, as a young teenager, I discovered Vespa and Lambretta scooters and where they took me over the following forty years. From humble beginnings on a Vespa PK50 as a young mod, you can read about how as a scooterboy I traipsed around the country with mates attending National Scooter Rallies, onto my exploits riding Solid Air around Europe and then thrashing it around a race track. It doesn’t matter whether you are a scooter rider having ridden the same roads or you have never even sat on a scooter, this book is for everyone. ​​​

 

​​​​​​​​​Lambretta Ladies - Memories of Long Ago shares many connections with my own scootering life, despite having happened many years earlier. Lambretta Ladies tells the story of Brenda and Arlene and their experiences from when they started riding in the 1950s. Following the discovery of an amazing archive of photographs, I was given the privilege of documenting their recollections of riding their beloved Lambretta scooters. The photos and stories will transport you back to simpler and slower times as you flick through the pages and soak up the images that you see.
